UWE DanceSoc are a relatively new society, formed September 2006 by students Becky Cowin and Debbie Baldwin. After winning UWE's Best New Society Award for 2007, the society then went on to win UWE’s Best Society Award for 2008! With the start of a new year, we are looking for new members to come join our ever growing, fun and friendly society.

If you're looking to develop your dance technique, trying to keep fit or are simply after a few moves to whip out on the dance floor, we can help you!

In addition, 2007 saw the start of UWEs very own Dance Squad. They travelled to Loughborough University in February and gained an impressive 2^nd place in the Contemporary category. Now in its second year, we aim to get our squad competing in more competitions across the country.
